Who we are and what this covers
This website is operated by Enso Studio LLC, a Phoenix, Arizona company doing business as Source D'Amour, a veteran-owned two-maker studio for stones and hand-made silver. This policy covers our public storefront, where you can browse pieces, send an inquiry, and request a custom order, and our private staff application used to run the studio. We serve the United States. We will update this policy before we turn on any new tracking or advertising tool.
What we collect
When you use an inquiry or custom-order form, we collect the contact details and message you choose to share, which may include your name, email address, a phone number if you give one, and the details of your request. When our staff sign in to the private app, we collect their account and login information. To bill and record a sale, we collect the customer and transaction details described in the QuickBooks section below. Automatically, today, we collect only a session cookie needed to operate the site securely, along with standard server information such as your IP address and browser type. No analytics or advertising trackers run on this site today. When we later turn on advertising and analytics tools, we will also collect information about the pages you view and the actions you take here, such as viewing a piece, starting an inquiry, or completing a purchase, along with device and cookie identifiers.
How we use it
We use your information to answer inquiries and make custom orders, to create and manage invoices and billing through QuickBooks Online, to talk with you about an order, to run and protect the site and the staff app, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. When we run advertising campaigns, we will also use information to measure, improve, and personalize our advertising on Meta and Google.
Cookies and tracking
Today the site uses only a session cookie for basic, secure operation. It runs no analytics and no advertising cookies. When we run advertising or analytics, we will use analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, and advertising cookies and similar technologies, and cookies set by Meta and Google may be stored on your device to measure and improve our advertising. Before we turn any of that on, we will publish a cookie notice, give you controls, and update this policy so it stays accurate.
Advertising with Meta, when we run it
When we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, we will use the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API. These send Meta information about your activity on this site, such as pages viewed and actions taken, along with your IP address, browser, cookie identifiers, and, where matched, contact details such as your email. We will share information such as your email address and your activity on this site with Meta Platforms, Inc. to measure and improve our advertising and to show you relevant ads. You can limit this: adjust your Meta ad settings at facebook.com/ads/preferences and through Meta's Activity from other businesses control, and opt out of interest-based advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
Advertising with Google, when we run it
When we advertise with Google, we and third-party vendors, including Google, will show our ads on sites across the internet, and those vendors will use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your past visits to this site. If we turn on Google Analytics advertising features such as remarketing, we will use first-party cookies, such as the Google Analytics cookie, together with Google's advertising cookies. We do not build audiences on sensitive categories. You can opt out through Google Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com, the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org, the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
QuickBooks and Intuit
We use QuickBooks Online, a product of Intuit, to create and manage invoices and to process billing. To do that, we share with Intuit the customer information needed to bill and record a sale, such as your name, contact details, and the items and amount. Intuit handles that information as our service provider, under Intuit's own terms and privacy statement. Our connection to QuickBooks is limited to accounting and nothing else.
How we share information
We share personal information only with those who help us operate: Intuit, for invoicing and accounting; Meta and Google, for advertising and measurement, when campaigns are live; any payment processor that handles a transaction; and service providers who help run the site. We do not sell your personal information. When advertising tools are live, some sharing for cross-context advertising may fall under state privacy laws, and you can opt out as described below.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and for a reasonable period afterward, up to three years. We keep invoicing and accounting records for seven years, as is standard for tax and bookkeeping. When advertising and analytics are live, that data is kept for the platforms' standard periods. At the end of a period we delete or anonymize the information.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Even though Arizona has no general consumer privacy law, we extend these choices to visitors from states that do. You can ask us not to sell or share your personal information, and we honor Global Privacy Control browser signals. When advertising is live, that choice maps to Google's Restricted Data Processing and Meta's Limited Data Use. To make a request, email us at service@sourcedamour.com. We do not target visitors in the EU, the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland today. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before any advertising cookie or pixel runs, and we will explain how to withdraw it.
Customer lists, when we use them
If we later upload contact lists, for example from inquiries or QuickBooks customers, to Meta or Google to build matched audiences, your contact information may be shared with those platforms to find and reach similar audiences. We will have your consent to do so and will keep a record of it.
Children
The site and staff app are not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age set by applicable law.
