One-of-a-kind stones and silver, made in Phoenix

A two maker studio in Phoenix, Arizona

We cut the stone and make the silver that holds it.

Source D'Amour is two people. Jeremy runs the saw and the wheel, turning rough into slabs and cabochons. Les facets stones, sets them, and does the metalwork. Veteran owned. Every piece is one of one.

From the ground to the finished pieceWe haul the rough, cut it, and set it ourselves.

The stone carries layered bands of sulfur yellow, orange, and grey, the kind of warm color that reads differently in daylight and lamplight. Les shaped the cabochon to follow the natural flow of the banding, then built a simple bezel setting that keeps the stone as the focal point.$260 / pieceOne of one View piece Dragon-skin silver turquoise earrings Dragon-skin silver turquoise earringsTurquoiseTurquoise cabochons set into dragon-skin silver, a dimpled texture worked into the metal so it breaks the light instead of polishing flat. A round pair, meant to be worn often rather than saved for something.$220 / pieceOne of one View piece 'High-end' turquoise pendant 'High-end' turquoise pendantTurquoiseA turquoise pendant set in silver, cut and built to be worn often. The stone has a clean, even color that reads well against the metal. Les sets each piece by hand and Jeremy cuts the cabochon to bring out what the rough gives him. A straightforward pendant you will keep reaching for.$320 / pieceOne of one View piece Contemporary turquoise ring Contemporary turquoise ringTurquoiseA clean, contemporary setting in silver lets this turquoise do the talking. The stone sits low and comfortable, with an open design that keeps the focus on the color. We cut and set this one together at the bench in Phoenix, the way we like to do. Simple lines, good stone, built to wear every day.$280 / pieceOne of one View piece White Buffalo lightning turquoise SET White Buffalo lightning turquoise SETTurquoise, Sourced from Tonopah, NevadaLes has been holding onto these White Buffalo lightning turquoise stones from the active Tonopah, Nevada mine, waiting for the right idea to surface. The white stone carries those sharp black veins that give the material its name. Hard stone to come by, and this is the set he was waiting to make.$550 / pieceOne of one View piece Green chalcedony pendant + earring SET Green chalcedony pendant + earring SETTurquoise, Sourced from CaliforniaA matched set of green chalcedony from an active California claim, cut into a pendant and earring pair. The color runs from apple green into turquoise blue, brought out by nickel in the host soil. Les set each stone in silver, keeping the focus on that natural shift in hue. A clean set that reads quiet on the neck and catches light at the ear.$300 / pieceOne of one View piece Royston turquoise + onyx pendant Royston turquoise + onyx pendantTurquoise, Sourced from near Tonopah, NevadaA Royston turquoise cabochon set with onyx in silver. The Royston mine sits near Tonopah, Nevada, and has been producing since 1902. The workshop

Slow work, close attention.

We make space for the stone to lead, then build a setting that lets it do so.
